In general the technology for global shutter sensors is pretty young and more complex so rolling shutter sensors have at the same size/resolution a better noise, light sensitivity and dynamic range performance than their global shutter equivalents. Would you still prefer the end of the jelly effect and sacrifice some other parameters for it?
